Plagiarism Policy


Penalties for Plagiarism

In cases of deliberate plagiarism you will be academically penalized. You will receive a 0 (zero) for the plagiarized work and will not be given an opportunity to make up the work or do extra credit to offset the zero.

Plagiarism is also an infraction of the disciplinary code which may result in phone calls to your parents and detentions.You also risk non-eligibility for membership in or dismissal from the National Honor Society.

Databases are available as subscriptions through the WHS and as a resource from the State Library Board. You may access all of these from school and home through the WHS Library Home webpage.
