Due to unforeseen challenges, we are disappointed to share with you that we are postponing the WHS Fields Grand Opening event planned for this Friday evening. Although Mewhiney Field itself is completed and looks fabulous, surfacing of the track is still in process. The surfacing requires dry conditions and weather above 55 degrees, with a 24 hour cycle to dry between coatings. Unfortunately, the weather conditions this summer and fall have not been ideal for outside work. In order to prevent any compromise of the warranty and life of the new surface, we cannot stop midway through this work, thus the need to reschedule our event.

The homecoming football game will be played Saturday at 2:00pm at WHS on the upper Jimmy Hayes field. Please come to cheer on the Rangers!
