Fall Sports 2017 Information:

June 6th- WHS Fall Sport Sign Up Meetings at WHS- 2:15pm

June 15th- GMS Informational Meeting for students- 1:15pm

July 1st-August 15th- WHS Fall Sport Registration open on Family ID.  Check back for updates on how to register

August 18th- Preseason practices for Football begin

August 24th- Preseason practices for Field Hockey, XC, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Soccer, Boys Golf begin

egistration is now available for GMS Intramural Basketball.  Please click HERE for the Family ID Registration Page.
 Registrations is due October 16th, 2014.  The season runs 10/21/14 through 11/21/14.  Please contact Nate Jyringi at jyringin@westboroughk12.org for more information. 


Registration Procedures:

Step  1:  Click here for instructions on how to register.
Step 2:  Click here for an introduction letter from Family ID 
Step 3:  Click here for the link to our new  registration website.  Once on the website, you will create an account for your family.  This account will be used to register your students each season without having to re-enter your personal information
Step 4:  Turn a current copy of your physical into the nurse-  physicals are only good for 13months from the date on they physical.
Step 5:  Take ImPact-All Fall Athletes MUST take Impact.  Be sure to turn off your "pop up" blocker.  Instructions are here.

 

Concussion Education:

Based on a new Mass State Law, the DPH has regulated that all parents and student athletes be educated regarding the risks associated with concussions. 

A copy of the full State Law can be downloaded HERE.

All parents are encouraged to take the free NFHS concussion education course provided HERE.

Other resources can be found in the Important Documents link to the left, or you can visit the CDC website at http://www.cdc.gov/concussion/sports/index.html

High School Fall Sports Registration Procedures:

Registration is NOW OPEN for soccer, field hockey, football, boys golf, volleyball, cheerleading, XC
Paperwork and registration are due August 15th, 2017

Step  1:  Click here for instructions on how to register.

Step  2:  Click here for the link to our registration website.  Please be sure to update all information and check for accuracy.

Step 3:  Turn a current copy of your physical into the nurse-  physicals are only good for 13 months from the date on the physical.  Physicals dated past 13 months are considered expired.
In addition to a physical:
- Students must provide an updated medical history and head injury history through Family ID
- Students and parents must take part in the DPH education programs regarding head injuries and opiate use.  
-Students and parents must complete annually one of the head injury safety training programs approved by the Department of Public Health.  Those programs include:

Step 4:  ImPact Testing-  All Fall athletes must take impact prior to starting their first sport. Be sure to turn off your "pop up" blocker.  Instructions are here.

Step 5: All fall athletes must attend the Fall Student Athlete Parent meeting scheduled for the first week of school in the WHS Auditorium.
